Stretched: ~47″ x ~47“ / 1.20 mts x 1.20 mts
In Forest, MAOF channels the visceral power of wild landscapes, where branches clash and reach, competing for light and rain. Dense greens collide with slashes of indigo, cobalt, and slate—a chromatic choreography of survival. The painting pulses with the rhythm of undergrowth and shadow, echoing the forest’s raw negotiations between life and decay. Acrylic gestures are scratched, swept, and layered like leaves fallen and trampled. Water, though unseen, is present everywhere—suggested in the cool haze, in the silvery streaks, in the soft erosion of edges. Forest is not a depiction, but an encounter. MAOF invites viewers to listen with their eyes, to feel the hush before rainfall or the crackle of roots beneath their feet.
